I had breast cancer back in 2010, and have had a hard time monitoring it ever since.

I knew I was overdue for a check-up so I looked into different places and quickly realized I wouldn’t be able to pay for it.

I came across ABCF and they helped me develop a plan, coordinated with my doctors, and paid for everything. My tests came back positive for breast cancer and as heartbroken as I was, ABCF gave me hope. They connected me with resources, survivor networks, and other organizations to create a plan for my treatment and emotional wellbeing.

I’m still scared, but their support during this time goes a long way. When you are first diagnosed, it can bring a ton of different emotions. Just know that all of these emotions are normal, and you’re not alone in dealing with them. There are a lot of people that care and love you like ABCF does, and for that I am grateful.
